School Council is run by the children. Mrs Holmes is the teacher representative. Two people from each class (boy and girl) are elected as reps and take their classes ideas to the council. They discuss and agree on whether they should be put forward or not. There is also an idea box in case you have an idea and you don’t want to say it in front of the class.
The council is a great way for improving our school. Lots of ideas have been passed through the council and have been put together, such as: painting the Girls Toilet, improving the Dinner Centre, organising talent shows. The council also helps with charity work. School has recently donated 115 pairs of shoes to the Blue Peter Shoe Biz Appeal.
