Y3 took part in an African Drumming Workshop run by Peter Buckley. The children had great fun making up rhythms and tunes on different types of African drums and percussion instruments. The workshop was part of their cross-curricular work on Ghana.
Recently we went on a trip to Ribchester Roman Museum. We visited the granaries and baths.
We had the chance to dress up as Roman soldiers.
We enjoyed looking at all the Roman artefacts such as oil lamps, brooches, tiles and fragments of jugs.
