Subject Leader Miss Sumner

The aim of the music curriculum at Anderton is to enable children to enjoy, appreciate and create music, and through this to encourage them to derive fulfilment, a sense of achievement and an increase in self-confidence.

Extra-curricular activities are provided to extend pupils’ experiences and skills. Concerts, dramas and celebrations are high in the school’s programme of social events bringing together pupils, parents, teachers, friends and governors into the school community.
