Our PE programme includes games, gymnastics, athletics and dance using the school facilities, hall, field and playground. Swimming for Y5 pupils takes place at All Seasons Leisure Centre in Chorley, a programme organised by LCC.

Pupils are encouraged to participate in many sporting activities. At present soccer, high fives, hockey, rugby, rounders, cricket, swimming, cross country and chess are available. Extra-curricular practice sessions are held regularly throughout the year in most of the above sports. The school is a member of the local primary schools’ sports association which organises many leagues, competitions and tournaments. Links with local professional clubs have been established and pupils regularly participate in various schemes and competitions.
